Make movement a daily habit through cardio, weight, or functional training in our various fitness spaces. Aim for at least 150 minutes of aerobic activity and two days of strength training to benefit your physical and mental health!

Fitness Center + Weight Room Policies

  • Overhead olympic lifts (clean and jerk, snatch, and other explosive/overhead movements) are not permitted due to space constraints.
  • No chalk or liquid grip may be used in RecWell weight/fitness facilities.
  • Closed toed shoes are necessary for all weight and fitness spaces. Barefoot training is not permitted in RecWell facilities. Shirts/tops are required. Jeans and clothing with metal rivets are prohibited.¬†
  • Water in closed, resealable plastic containers is allowed. All other drinks, food, and glass containers are confined to designated lounge areas.
  • All bags, jackets and articles of clothing that are not being worn are prohibited in fitness centers and weight rooms. Lockers are available for use near all fitness centers and weight rooms.
