Did you have a meaningful experience with RecWell as a student employee or participant? Would you like to help us inspire all Terps to be active and well? Contributions to University Recreation & Wellness support ongoing programs and facilities for students, faculty/staff, and community members, along with new wellness initiatives and student development efforts.
Eppley Fund for Student Enhancement
Created in memory of Geary F. Eppley, a pioneer in the area of student health and wellness at the University of Maryland, this fund provides for enhancements to RecWell programs and facilities that support student development and overall well-being.
Adventure Program Access and Enrichment Fund
These funds cover full or partial adventure trip registration fees for students to participate on adventure trips. Adventure trip registration includes trained trip leaders, transportation, equipment rental, and any park entrance or camping fees.
Injury Prevention & Care Program Fund
These funds are used to help support costs related to orthopedic and medical care to those who are apart of the campus community.
Terp Esports Fund
These funds are used to help us build esports champions! Funds are currently being used for academic programming, team travel, community outreach, and to support the construction of an esports gaming facility.
Golf Course Enhancement Fund
The University Golf Course has served as host to the PGA Nationwide Tour's Melwood Prince George's County Open, national, regional, and local tournaments, and annual host to the Maryland State High School Championships. The course is a Certified Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary, and was dedicated in 1959 to the health and recreation needs of the University of Maryland and local communities.
The Golf Course Enhancement Fund assists with maintenance and enhancement of the University of Maryland Golf Course.
Intramural Sports Support Fund
The RecWell Intramural Sports Support Fund provides support for activities, programs, and competition related expenses for University Recreation & Wellness intramural sports teams. This fund also supports the purchase of necessary equipment, supplies, and program development.
RecWell Club Sports Enhancement Fund
These funds are used to help deserving club sports manage the costs associated with equipment purchases and to travel to competitions as representatives of the University of Maryland. Both general and specific club support is welcome.
