Eppley Tennis and Pickleball Courts
Located on North Campus to the west of the Eppley Recreation Center, the Eppley Tennis and Pickleball Courts consist of eight lighted outdoor tennis courts and 16 pickleball courts, which are available to all UMD community members. Members can reserve individual courts for free online. The Eppley Tennis and Pickleball Courts are also available to rent. Please visit our Facility Rentals page for more information.
The Eppley Tennis and Pickleball Courts are intended for UMD students, faculty, staff, and RecWell members. Reservations are limited to one court per person, with a maximum time of two hours per day. Online reservations become available 48 hours in advance.
Pickleball
- Available on select courts on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday evenings
- Tennis is available on all other courts and at all other times of day
- Dates, times, and court assignments are listed below
- 2 pickleball courts per tennis court
- No reservation required!
Eppley Tennis and Pickleball Courts are accessible to current campus community members only, unless reserved through a RecWell Facility Use Agreement.

The Eppley Tennis and Pickleball Courts can host a variety of tennis and pickleball rentals from single courts to the entire court complex depending on the event.

- 8 tennis courts
- 16 pickleball courts (2 per tennis court)
Parking on campus is regulated by UMD’s Department of Transportation Services. Regulations vary based on time of year, time of day, type of parking permit, and special events/construction projects. We recommend viewing DOTS’ parking maps for current accommodations and restrictions.
