Types of Rentals
The Armory is ideal for sports tournaments/camps such as basketball, volleyball, badminton and fencing with minimum spectator seating. Other types of special events needing a large open space also work well in this space such as career fairs. Sound panels were installed to aid in the acoustics so that amplified sound can be used for events.
Parking on campus is regulated by UMD’s Department of Transportation Services. Regulations vary based on time of year, time of day, type of parking permit, and special events/construction projects. We recommend viewing DOTS’ parking maps for current accommodations and restrictions.
