Makya is excited for the opportunity to positively impact the lives of the student employees by helping them gain confidence and develop skills that will carry them far beyond when they leave campus. She is thankful for the opportunity to aid in creating a safe and inviting space for students to better themselves both physically and mentally. To be active and live well, Makya enjoys HIIT training, weight training, and taking long walks with her dog around the neighborhood. When she's not at work, she enjoys traveling, trying new recipes, listening to music and spending time with family and friends.
