Kurt Klier

Kurt enjoys working at RecWell because of all the students he has the opportunity to interact with - different nationalities, backgrounds, religions, orientations, identities, race, ethnicities - he gets to experience the world without leaving campus and he gets to witness students grow and find themselves through their involvement and leadership in sports. One way that Kurt stays active is as a basketball official. He has been fortunate to officiate in front of 17,000 students at the Comcast Center (now Xfinity) and to have officiated three time in the Maryland State Basketball Championships. When not at work on the basketball court, Kurt enjoys working on his house (a never ending project), and taking care of his yard. He also enjoys time spent outdoors with family and friends, live music festivals, and camping while watching Phish or the Dead & Company.
