Mary Kate Crawford

Mary Kate's favorite part of working at RecWell is knowing that students are enjoying their experience at UMD, and thriving as students, because of their participation in RecWell's programs and in the facilities. As an alum, she remembers how much fun she had playing Intramural Sports, participating on the Club Ultimate Frisbee team, and working out with friends at the ERC. Knowing her work allows current Active Terps to enjoy those same opportunities makes the job incredibly rewarding. In order to be active and live well, Mary Kate loves to play in the yard with her daughters, workout, take her dog for walks, and play any sport available. Outside of work, Mary Kate enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading (on the beach in Aruba if possible), and laughing. She holds a Doctor of Philosophy in Higher Education, Student Affairs, and International Educational Policy with a focus in Student Affairs.
