The Adventure Program's climbing wall towers 55 feet and offers climbing on 11 different top ropes in addition to our bouldering grotto. It is located outside, on the north side of the Eppley Recreation Center and accessed via the walkway between Lot SS2 and the School of Public Health, or via the stairs on the west side of the ERC between the ERC and the Outdoor Aquatic Center. The climbing wall was added to RecWell’s offerings in 2001 as another option for informal recreation.
- Top rope climbing
Parking on campus is regulated by UMD’s Department of Transportation Services. Regulations vary based on time of year, time of day, type of parking permit, and special events/construction projects. We recommend viewing DOTS’ parking maps for current accommodations and restrictions.
