The University Recreation & Wellness Adventure Program is committed to providing student-powered adventure experiences that promote personal growth, transformative learning, social responsibility, and environmental stewardship for the University of Maryland Community.

We're Hiring!
We are looking to hire eight motivated, enthusiastic leaders who appreciate teaching in the outdoors. Although prior outdoor leadership training is helpful, it is not required. Apply at  Application deadline is September 30.  Contact Amanda Even with questions at

Bike Shop:

Where is the Challenge Course?

We is located on the north end of the Eppley Recreation Center, near lot SS3 at the end of South Farm Drive. We are just down the stairs from the Outdoor Aquatic Center. The Adventure Center has a separate entrance and is not accessible from the ERC main entrance.
